About the event
Couples often arrive in therapy caught in painful patterns that feel impossible to shift. Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) offers a clear, research-based roadmap for understanding distress and helping partners reconnect. This introductory training is designed for therapists, counselors, psychologists, and both licensed and pre-licensed professionals who want to deepen their understanding of relationship dynamics through EFT. Participants will learn the foundational principles of the model and how attachment science shapes conflict, disconnection, and repair in couple relationships.
Learning Objectives
By the end of this workshop, participants will be able to:
Describe the core principles of Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT).
Explain the origins of attachment science and its relevance to adult relationships.
Identify the four attachment styles and how they present in couples.
