"The irony is that we attempt to disown our difficult stories to appear more whole or more acceptable, but our wholeness -even our wholeheartedness- actually depends on the integration of all our experiences, including the falls."

Couples, Family & Individual Therapy in Cumberland and North Metro Atlanta
I provide trauma-informed therapy in Cumberland, Atlanta, serving individuals, couples, and families throughout North Metro Atlanta. With over 15 years of clinical experience, I am deeply committed to helping clients build secure, resilient relationships and break generational patterns that keep them stuck.
Through my work, I have witnessed the profound impact that attachment bonds and emotional safety have on our well-being. Grounded in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) and informed by Polyvagal Theory (PVT), I integrate attachment science and nervous system regulation to support lasting relational change. Together, we identify and shift the emotional patterns that shape how you relate to yourself and the people who matter most.
Therapy with me is collaborative, experiential, and rooted in emotional safety. I strive to create a space where vulnerability is met with compassion and courage is honored.
Who I Help in Cumberland & North Metro Atlanta
Couples Therapy
I work with couples navigating conflict, disconnection, trust ruptures, and relational pain. Using an attachment-based, EFT-informed framework, we uncover reactive cycles and access the deeper emotions and needs beneath them. This work helps partners move from defensiveness and distance toward responsiveness, security, and closeness.
Individual Therapy
I support adults seeking insight into emotional triggers, relational patterns, and trauma histories that shape their present experiences. Through attachment work and nervous system awareness, clients develop greater emotional regulation, self-compassion, and clarity in relationships.
Family Therapy
I help families strengthen bonds, improve communication, and cultivate emotional safety within the family system. By supporting both parents and children in understanding attachment needs, we create more secure and connected relational dynamics.
EFCT Supervision, Consultation & Therapist Trainings
In addition to clinical work, I offer EFCT supervision and consultation for therapists pursuing certification or deepening their practice in Emotionally Focused Therapy. Supporting clinicians in developing attuned, confident, and ethically grounded EFT work is one of my greatest professional passions. As an ICEEFT Approved Supervisor Candidate, I receive supervision from ICEEFT Trainer Rachel Thomas, LMFT, and ICEEFT Supervisor Kelly Bourque, LMFT, ensuring the highest standards of EFT practice.
I also provide EFT-informed trainings and workshops for therapists seeking to grow in attachment-based clinical practice. These trainings are experiential, relational, and grounded in both clinical rigor and emotional safety. Whether you are new to EFT or refining advanced skills, I aim to foster a learning environment that supports depth, reflection, and practical integration.
At The Relationship House, therapy and professional growth share one relational home — because the way we heal and the way we learn are both rooted in connection.
My Approach to Emotionally Focused Therapy in Atlanta
My work is guided by the principles of Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), which centers attachment as the foundation of emotional and relational health. I also integrate Polyvagal-informed interventions to support nervous system regulation, helping clients understand how their bodies and emotions respond under stress.
I am committed to providing a safe, inclusive, and affirming environment for all clients. I am an LGBTQIA+ affirming clinician, and I welcome diverse relationship structures and identities.
As Program Director at The Relationship House, I collaborate closely with our team to ensure the highest quality of care for every client we serve.
