Meet Chloe

As a Marriage and Family Therapist, I recognize that relationships are an undeniable part of how we make sense of the world. The relationships we have with ourselves—and the connections we share with others—can be both sources of great joy and deep struggle. Whether you are an individual, in a romantic partnership, or part of a family system, my goal is to help you lead from a place of authenticity within these relationships.

As a Black, LGBTQIA+ therapist, I feel deeply energized by the opportunity to provide warm, affirming services to members of the community and their loved ones. Together, we will create a compassionate and supportive environment where you can safely explore your inner world. Building on your unique strengths, I’ll help you bring vulnerable parts of yourself to light and introduce compassion into shame-filled narratives. Through this process, I aim to support you in navigating challenges within your most intimate relationships, cultivating a greater sense of security and agency in your life.

I especially enjoy working with children, adolescents, and families. I have experience helping younger clients and their families navigate grief, neurodivergence, school difficulties, life transitions, body image concerns, and traumatic stress—much of which was gained through my work in a child advocacy setting. In addition, I have supported clients in exploring the intersections of cultural identity and queerness, family dynamics within both biological and chosen families, child rearing, and navigating the dating and relationship landscape.

Through my membership in Syracuse University’s Transgender Affirmative Support Team, I received specialized training in providing therapy to trans clients and other members of the LGBTQ+ community. This training also included guidance in conducting the readiness process for gender-affirming care and collaborating with clients to craft letters of support.

Attachment theory and trauma-informed practice form the core of my approach, and I integrate narrative, contextual, and experiential methods to honor all parts of a client’s being. I hold a Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Syracuse University, along with a Certificate of Advanced Studies in Trauma-Informed Practice, and I am currently pursuing licensure under the clinical supervision of Alex Peskin, LMFT.

Outside of the therapy room, you can find me nose deep in a book, absorbed in a video game, or with streaks of flour across my face and a whisk in hand. I love opportunities for creative expression, and I aim to facilitate that same freedom within clients. I look forward to supporting you in your journey!
