About the event
Ready to take your understanding of Emotionally Focused Therapy from theory to practice?
This training is designed for therapists who are looking to build on the basics of EFT and learn how to begin working with emotion in the therapy room. We’ll focus on core EFT interventions, as well as the EFT Tango—a five-step clinical process that helps therapists guide couples from disconnection to connection.
You’ll learn how to work both within the individual (intrapersonal) and between the partners (interpersonal) to deepen emotional engagement and create new bonding moments.
This workshop will help you:
Review key EFT concepts, including attachment theory and the negative interaction cycle
Recognize the pursue-withdraw pattern in distressed couples
