Join us for EFT in Action: Clinical Interventions with Couples, Part 2 of the EFCT Starter Series. Do you sometimes feel lost in the EFT Tango, unsure of your next step with couples? Whether you're just starting out or need a refresher on the core interventions that make EFT so effective, this on-demand workshop is designed to help you get back to the heart of Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy! This on-demand training is designed for therapists who are looking to build on the basics of EFT and learn how to begin working with emotion in the therapy room. We’ll focus on core EFT interventions, as well as the EFT Tango—a five-step clinical process that helps therapists guide couples from disconnection to connection. You’ll learn how to work both within the individual (intrapersonal) and between the partners (interpersonal) to deepen emotional engagement and create new bonding moments. This workshop will help you: 1) Review key EFT concepts, including attachment theory and the negative interaction cycle 2) Recognize the pursue-withdraw pattern in distressed couples 3) Learn intrapersonal and interpersonal EFT interventions that promote emotional safety and responsiveness 4) Understand and use the 5 Moves of the EFT Tango to guide your sessions 5) Practice applying core EFT interventions in a safe learning environment This workshop is ideal for therapists just beginning their journey into EFT or those wanting more confidence using EFT techniques in the room. ***To support engagement and timely completion, participants will have 8 weeks of access to complete the training. Upon completion, participants will receive a certificate for 3 Core Asynchronous CE Hours approved by GAMFT, GSCSW, and LPCA of GA.***
