Identify ethical considerations in assessment and case conceptualization when working with couples from an attachment-based and systemic perspective. 4. Describe ethical practices for structuring EFCT sessions, including maintaining transparency, boundaries, and clarity within the therapeutic frame. 5. Evaluate ethical considerations when discerning between individual and conjoint sessions in couples therapy, including confidentiality and clinical appropriateness. 6. Examine the role of the therapist’s “self” in ethical practice, including awareness of countertransference, bias, power dynamics, and self-care within the couple system. 7. Analyze ethical case vignettes to strengthen ethical reasoning and clinical judgment in complex relational situations. 8. Demonstrate ethical decision-making skills through experiential exercises and case discussion relevant to Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy.
