Johnny White, MS, MFT

Johnny is a Marriage and Family Therapist under supervision of Alex Peskin, LMFT.  He is a graduate of Morehouse College with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Master of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy from Valdosta State University.  Johnny specializes in working with young adults who are seeking a better understanding of their life and challenges as they continue making transitions in their personal and professional relationships, and their relationship with themselves. 

 

Johnny utilizes systemic and postmodern approaches, in addition to narrative and collaborative therapy techniques to facilitate the process of change with his clients. Johnny believes that everyone is an author of their own story. And as with any story, the main character experiences challenges they are working to overcome. With that said, Johnny views therapy as a collaborative process with clients to create a safe, empowering environment to comfortably explore the story of their life as they continue to write it.

 

Johnny also works with couples and families navigating their way through challenging periods they’re experiencing, discovering together the ways in which they may attain the ideal relationship they would like to have. 

 

Johnny is an LGBTQIA+ and BIPOC friendly clinician.
