Meet Crystal

As a military veteran and member of the LGBTQIA+ community, I am deeply passionate about working with underserved populations and advocating for mental health awareness. My focus lies in providing support to non-binary individuals, same-sex couples, people of color, veterans, and those exploring their gender and sexuality.

Drawing from my military experience, I have firsthand knowledge of the challenges faced by individuals dealing with PTSD, depression, anxiety, sexual assault, divorce, and other struggles. I understand the profound impact of socio-cultural factors on one's life and prioritize breaking down barriers of discrimination and generational trauma.

In the therapy room, I thrive on a collaborative, client-centered approach that integrates Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) and experiential therapies. My goal is to create a judgment-free safe space where couples, individuals, families, and children can freely express their thoughts, emotions, and feelings. It is essential that everyone feels heard, respected, and comfortable.

If you're seeking a therapy approach that is youthful, free-spirited, and welcoming to all, you've come to the right place!

I hold a Master of Marriage and Family Therapy degree from Mercer University, complemented by a Bachelor of Science degree from Michigan State University in Anthropology with a minor in environment and health. Currently, I work under the clinical supervision of Alex Peskin, LMFT, as a Marriage and Family Therapist.
